MergeDo is a browser-based file composition workspace. This policy explains what happens to the files you combine and what, if anything, reaches our servers.
Files are processed on your device
Every tool on MergeDo runs entirely inside your browser. Video, audio, image, and PDF files are read, combined, and written back using browser APIs on your own device.
MergeDo has no server-side file processing. Your files are not uploaded to us, and we could not access them even if we wanted to.
What leaves your device
Your browser requests the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and interface assets needed to display the site, and it may send standard technical request data such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you opened.
If you load the site with an advertisement blocker disabled, your ad provider may set cookies or similar identifiers. Use of those is governed by that provider's own policy, not this one.
Exported results are generated locally and saved directly to your device. MergeDo never receives them.
Analytics and advertising
The site is supported by advertising. Advertising partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser or ad provider settings.
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless: no cookie, local storage, or other identifier is written to your device, and it does not track you across sites. It records the page URL, the referrer, your browser and language, and a city-level location derived from your IP address. Your IP address is hashed with a salt that is rotated daily and is never stored. It never receives your file contents or file names, because files are processed entirely in your browser. Retention and deletion
Because files never reach our servers, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Closing the tab discards all in-memory processing data.
Server logs that may be created for security and abuse prevention are kept for a limited period and contain no file contents.
Children
MergeDo is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
